1. Simple Present Tense की परिभाषा (Definition in Hindi)

जब हम किसी आदत (Habit), दिनचर्या (Daily Routine), सार्वभौमिक सत्य (Universal Truth) या स्थाई तथ्य (Permanent Fact) की बात करते हैं, तब हम Simple Present Tense का प्रयोग करते हैं।

Examples:

• I go to school every day. (मैं रोज़ स्कूल जाता हूँ।)
• The sun rises in the east. (सूरज पूर्व से निकलता है।)
• Water boils at 100°C. (पानी 100 डिग्री पर उबलता है।)

2. Simple Present Tense का प्रयोग (Uses of Simple Present Tense)

1. Habits (आदतें)
   • She drinks tea every morning. (वह हर सुबह चाय पीती है।)
2. Daily Routine (दैनिक कार्य)
   • We play cricket on Sundays. (हम रविवार को क्रिकेट खेलते हैं।)
3. Universal Truth (सार्वभौमिक सत्य)
   • The Earth revolves around the sun. (पृथ्वी सूर्य के चारों ओर घूमती है।)
4. Permanent Facts (स्थाई तथ्य)
   • Gold is a precious metal. (सोना कीमती धातु है।)
5. Instructions / Headlines
   • Open your books. (अपनी किताबें खोलो।)
   • India wins the match. (भारत ने मैच जीता।)

3. Sentence Structures in Simple Present Tense

(A) Affirmative Sentences (सकारात्मक वाक्य)

Structure: Subject + V1 (base form) + Object
Rule: अगर Subject He, She, It या Singular Noun है तो Verb में s/es लगेगा।

Examples:

• I read a book daily. (मैं रोज़ किताब पढ़ता हूँ।)
• She reads a book daily. (वह रोज़ किताब पढ़ती है।)
• They play football. (वे फुटबॉल खेलते हैं।)
• Ramesh plays football. (रमेश फुटबॉल खेलता है।)

(B) Negative Sentences (नकारात्मक वाक्य)

Structure: Subject + do/does + not + V1 + Object

Examples:

• I do not (don’t) watch TV. (मैं टीवी नहीं देखता।)
• She does not (doesn’t) watch TV. (वह टीवी नहीं देखती।)
• They do not go to school on Sunday. (वे रविवार को स्कूल नहीं जाते।)
• He doesn’t like coffee. (उसे कॉफी पसंद नहीं है।)

(C) Interrogative Sentences (प्रश्नवाचक वाक्य)

(i) Yes/No Type Questions
Structure → Do/Does + Subject + V1 + Object?

Examples:

• Do you play cricket? (क्या तुम क्रिकेट खेलते हो?)
• Does she like mangoes? (क्या उसे आम पसंद है?)

(ii) Wh-Questions
Structure → Wh-word + do/does + Subject + V1 + Object?

Examples:

• Where do you live? (आप कहाँ रहते हैं?)
• What does he eat for breakfast? (वह नाश्ते में क्या खाता है?)

4. Daily Life Examples (रोज़ाना की English Sentences)

• I wake up at 6 o’clock. (मैं सुबह 6 बजे उठता हूँ।)
• She goes to college every day. (वह रोज़ कॉलेज जाती है।)
• We speak Hindi at home. (हम घर पर हिंदी बोलते हैं।)
• He plays cricket in the park. (वह पार्क में क्रिकेट खेलता है।)
• My father works in an office. (मेरे पिता ऑफिस में काम करते हैं।)

Tip: अपने ही जीवन से जुड़े वाक्यों को English में बोलकर Practice करें।

5. Tips & Tricks (Grammar Strong बनाने के लिए)

1. Singular Subject → Verb में s/es लगाएँ। ❌ He eat → ✅ He eats
2. Plural Subjects और “I/You/We/They” → Verb की Base Form लगाएँ।
3. Negative और Questions में हमेशा do/does का प्रयोग करें।
4. रोज़ 5–10 वाक्य अपने Routine से लेकर Translate करें।
