Field Technician

job responsibilities:

• perform installation, testing, and commissioning of smart meters at customer premises as per project guidelines.
• troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to smart metering systems.
• ensure proper documentation of meter installations and submit reports to the supervisor.
• adhere to safety protocols and procedures during fieldwork.
• survey, install, and commission smart meters at field locations using workforce management application.

minimum qualifications:

• iti/diploma in electrical engineering.
• minimum 1-2 years of experience or fresher in electrical installations, preferably with metering projects.
• basic understanding of smart metering technology and electrical systems.

skills required:

• hands-on experience with electrical tools and instruments.
• ability to read and interpret technical drawings or manuals.
• strong troubleshooting skills.
• willingness to work in the field and travel to remote areas.
• good communication skills to interact with customers and team members.

additional requirements:

• valid driving license (if applicable).
• physically fit to handle fieldwork.
