Apprenticeship - Instrumentation

●     assist in the maintenance and calibration of field instruments such as pressure gauges, flow meters, level transmitters, and gas analyzers.

●     assist troubleshooting of instrument faults and control system issues.

●     learn to perform preventive maintenance (pm) activities on instrumentation systems.

●     assist in loop checking and functional testing of instruments during shutdowns and startups.

●     follow safety and environmental standards during instrumentation work.

●     maintain records of calibration, maintenance, and breakdown activities.

●     assist in the installation and commissioning of new instrumentation and control devices.

●     coordinate with electrical and mechanical teams during plant maintenance jobs.

●     gain knowledge on distributed control system (dcs), plc, and scada systems used in the plant.

●     be proactive in learning plant processes and their control philosophy.
