Chilled water pipe Technician & Supervisor

we are currently seeking a skilled and experienced chilled water pipe technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in installing, maintaining, and repairing chilled water piping systems. As a chilled water pipe technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of chilled water systems and providing exceptional service to our clients.

responsibilities:

• install chilled water piping systems according to engineering plans and specifications.
• fabricate, cut, and join pipes using various techniques such as welding, soldering, or brazing.
• inspect and test pipes for leaks, corrosion, or other defects.
• repair or replace damaged or malfunctioning components, such as valves, fittings, or insulation.
• perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the proper functioning of chilled water systems.
• troubleshoot and diagnose problems with piping systems, including identifying the root cause of issues and implementing effective solutions.
• collaborate with engineers, hvac technicians, and other team members to coordinate project activities and ensure project deadlines are met.
• adhere to safety protocols and industry standards at all times.

requirements:

• high school diploma or equivalent.
• certification or license in plumbing or hvac systems preferred.
• proven experience as a chilled water pipe technician or similar role.
• strong understanding of chilled water systems and piping installation techniques.
• ability to read and interpret engineering plans and technical drawings.
• proficiency in using tools and equipment common to the trade.
• excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• good communication and interpersonal skills.
• valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
