Civil Site Engineer (Supervisor)

job summary:

we are seeking a skilled and experienced civil site engineer (supervisor) to oversee construction and maintenance activities at our plant site. The candidate will be responsible for supervising civil works, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and coordinating with various stakeholders for seamless project execution.

key responsibilities:

• supervise and manage all on-site civil engineering activities, including construction, repair, and maintenance work.
• ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• oversee laborers, subcontractors, and other personnel involved in civil works.
• monitor project progress and report any deviations from the schedule to senior management.
• ensure that materials used comply with the required quality standards.
• conduct site inspections, resolve technical issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, logs, and records.
• collaborate with other departments, including mechanical, electrical, and safety teams, to ensure smooth plant operations.
• enforce strict adherence to safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment.

requirements:

• bachelor’s degree/diploma in civil engineering or a related field.
• experience: minimum 2 years in site supervision, preferably in an industrial or plant environment.
• strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methodologies, and safety standards.
• proficiency in autocad, ms office, and other relevant software.
• ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

preferred qualifications:

• experience working in an industrial plant or manufacturing facility.
• knowledge of structural analysis and load calculations.
