If you have passed ITI then you must be facing a very important question that “What are the career opportunities after ITI?” you may be wondering about the numerous career opportunities that are available to you. What is ITI ?

(Industrial Training Institute) ITI Diploma is of 2 years. In which there are many courses. To do ITI, the student must have 10th pass, only then the student can apply for ITI. To get admission in ITI, students first have to give entrance exam after which they can take admission in ITI.

Popularity of ITI

ITI courses are very popular especially among students from rural areas because ITIs have a curriculum that focuses entirely on skill development. And you can see that the pass out students of ITIs from engineering or non-engineering trades have become very skilled professionals today.

Talking about further career growth after ITI, you can start your own business after completing 2 years ITI course, or you can do freelancing. Apart from this, you can also become a private tutor in your trade, but for this you need to be expert. Apart from this, you can also do apprenticeship somewhere, but for this, you have to research well and find a good apprenticeship, which will teach you work as well as pay well.
You can also become a crafts instructor, but for that you have to clear the entrance exam.
You can also become a technician or supervisor with the help of placement cell of ITI.

After this, if you want to study further, then after completing 2 years ITI Diploma, you can directly take admission in the second year of Polytechnic. After this, you can also do B.Tech or M.Tech, after which you have very good job options.

You can also do graduation in vocational course
If you want to do graduation in vocational course after ITI, then in some states you can directly take admission in second year of it, but for this it is necessary that you have passed 12th before starting ITI. Only then you can take direct admission in its second year, otherwise you will have to start from first year itself.

Specialized short term courses:

For ITI students of certain specific trades, Advanced Training Institutes (ATIs) offer specialized courses which can be completed in a very short time. After completing these courses, you become more efficient for doing job or own business in your related trade because work is done to strengthen your skills here.

All India Trade Test

There is another one for ITI students after completion of ITI course, which is AITT or All India Trade Test. All India Trade Test is conducted by NCVT i.e. National Council for Vocational Training. This test is a skill test which gives certificate to ITI students. After passing this test, students get “National Trade Certificate (NTC)” in their related trade by NCVT. Let us tell you, in many engineering trades, NTC certificate is recognized as equivalent to degree.

ITI क्या है

इंडस्ट्रियल ट्रेंनिंग इंस्टिट्यूट यानि ITI Diploma 2 साल का होता है। जिसमे बहुत सारे कोर्सेज होते हैं। ITI करने के लिए छात्र को दसवीं पास होना आवश्यक है, उसके बाद ही छात्र ITI के लिए अप्लाई कर सकते हैं। ITI में एडमिशन होने के लिए छात्रों को सबसे पहले एंट्रेंस एग्जाम देना होता है जिसके बाद वह ITI में एडमिशन ले सकते है।

आईटीआई की लोकप्रियता

ITI कोर्स विशेष रूप से ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों के छात्रों के बीच बहुत लोकप्रिय है क्यूंकि ITI में ऐसा पाठ्यक्रम होता है जो कौशल विकास यानि स्किल डेवलपमेंट पर पूरा ध्यान केंद्रित करता है। और आप देख सकते हैं कि ITI के इंजीनियरिंग या गैर- इंजीनियरिंग ट्रेड्स से पास आउट छात्र आज बहुत ही कुशल पेशेवर बन चुके हैं।

छात्र इनमे से कोई भी कोर्स चुन सकते हैं , और गैर-इंजीनियरिंग कोर्स में क्राफ्ट्समैन फ़ूड प्रोडक्शन, नीडल वर्कर डाटा एंट्री ऑपरेटर , हेल्थ सैनिटरी इंस्पेक्टर आदि की ट्रेंनिंग भी ले सकते हैं।

ITI करने के बाद कौन सी जॉब मिल सकती है?

किसी भी कोर्स को करने से पहले हर किसी के मन में ये सवाल रहता है कि इसे करने के बाद वह कौन कौन सी जॉब कर सकते हैं तो यदि आपने ITI कम्पलीट कर लिया है तो उसके बाद आप कुछ निम्नलिखित सरकारी डिपार्टमेंट्स अपनी ट्रेड की वैकेंसी के अकॉर्डिंग जॉब कर सकते हैं।

ITI के बाद आगे करियर बढ़ाने की बात करें तो आप 2 साल का ITI कोर्स कम्पलीट करने के बाद कोई खुद का बिजनेस शुरू कर सकते हैं , या फिर फ्रीलांसिंग कर सकते हैं। इसके आलावा आप अपनी ट्रेड में प्राइवेट ट्यूटर भी बन सकते हैं लेकिन इसके लिए आपको ऐक्सपर्टाइज़ होना ज़रूरी है। इसके भी अलावा, आप कहीं पर अप्रेंटिसशिप भी कर  लेकिन इसके लिए आपको अच्छे से रिसर्च करके अच्छी अप्रेंटिसशिप ढूंढनी पड़ती है जो आपको काम सिखाने के साथ साथ अच्छा पे भी करें।

आप क्राफ्ट्स इंस्ट्रक्टर भी बन सकते हैं, लेकिन  इसके लिए आपको एंट्रेंस एग्जाम क्लियर करना पड़ता है।

आप ITI की प्लेसमेंट सेल की मदद से टेक्नीशियन या  सुपरवाइजर भी बन सकते हैं।

इसके बाद अगर आप आगे पढ़ना चाहते हैं तो आप 2 साल का ITI डिप्लोमा कम्पलीट करने के बाद सीधे पॉलिटेक्निक के द्वितीय वर्ष में प्रवेश ले सकते हैं। इसके बाद आप बीटेक या एमटेक भी कर सकते हैं , जिसके बाद  आपके पास नौकरी के बहुत अच्छे ऑप्शंस खुल जाते हैं।

वोकेशनल कोर्स में भी कर सकते हैं ग्रेजुएशन

अगर आप ITI के बाद वोकेशनल कोर्स में ग्रेजुएशन करना चाहते हैं तो कुछ राज्यों में आप सीधे इसके द्वितीय वर्ष में प्रवेश ले सकते हैं, लेकिन इसके लिए ज़रूरी है कि आप ITI शुरू करने से पहली १२ वीं कर चुके हों। तभी आप इसके द्वितीय वर्ष में डायरेक्ट एडमिशन ले सकते हैं , अन्यथा आपको प्रथम वर्ष से ही शुरू करना पड़ेगा।  

विशिष्ट लघु अवधि पाठ्यक्रम (Specialized short term courses):

 कुछ विशिष्ट (specific) ट्रेडों के ITI छात्रों के लिए , उन्नत प्रशिक्षण संस्थान (एटीआई) विशेष पाठ्यक्रम प्रदान करते हैं जो बहुत ही कम समय में कम्पलीट हो जाता है। ये पाठ्यक्रम पूरा करने के बाद आप अपनी रिलेटेड ट्रेड में नौकरी या खुद का बिजनेस करके के लिए और ज़्यादा कुशल हो जाते हैं क्यूंकि यहाँ पर आपकी स्किल को और मजबूत करने का काम किया जाता है।

ऑल इंडिया ट्रेड टेस्ट

ITI कोर्स पूरा होने के ITI छात्रों के लिए एक और होता है, जो है एआईटीटी या ऑल इंडिया ट्रेड टेस्ट। ऑल इंडिया ट्रेड टेस्ट एनसीवीटी यानि नेशनल काउन्सिल फॉर वोकेशनल ट्रेंनिंग द्वारा आयोजित किया जाता है। यह टेस्ट एक स्किल टेस्ट है जो ITI छात्रों को सर्टिफिकेट देती है। यह टेस्ट पास करने के बाद , छात्रों को एनसीवीटी द्वारा उनकी रिलेटेड ट्रेड में ” नेशनल ट्रेड सर्टिफिकेट(एनटीसी) ” मिल जाता है। आपको बता दें, कई इंजीनियरिंग ट्रेड्स में एनटीसी सार्टिफिकेट, डिग्री के बराबर मान्यता रखता है।
